DONATIONS TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS

WBGU-PBS staff members joined forces last week to donate 81 food and hygiene items to the Brown Bag Food Project in Bowling Green. The effort was part of Bowling Green State University’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The goal was for each participating university department to collect 21 items – WBGU-PBS did that and more! Donating to a local food bank is an easy way to help your neighbors during the pandemic when the need seems to be greater than ever. The Brown Bag Food Project always welcomes donations, visit their website for details - brownbagfoodproject.org. Or, we encourage you to find a food pantry in your community to help by visiting foodpantries.org.
